I've looked everywhere, nobody seems to repro them for our engines.

Mine is really cracked, I think it might be part of my problem on my engine. If anyone knows where to find one, let me know. Thanks in advance.

as long as replacements are not available, a hose made from nitrile butadiene rubber is your best choice.

I know this is a longshot, but I have no clue where to get that hose you are speaking of and even then, it wouldn't be molded and might kink. I had a idea while I was being desperate.

Let's say you buy some liquid electrical tape and coat the exterior of the hose, that would create a waterproof and airtight coating around the hose, almost like adding another layer of rubber. Or maybe some type of silicon adhesive or RTV adhesive? Something flexible, compatible with rubber (will stick), and able to withstand mild heat.

What do you guys think... could it work until I find another hose?

Go to Autozoo, give the broken hose to someone and say "I need a new hose" They will then go in the back and bring you some new hose.

yup
i looked at my hose, it's nothing special, they should easily be able to find what you need

Not just "ANY" hose, it has to resist oil and fuel....

or you can order one from National Parts Depot, I think they sell it....though it might be more expensive :?

Do a search on rubber products, use google and your yellow pages.
when using the internet, type in your state or city as well.

industrial suppliers sell all sorts of hoses by the yard.

a pre-bent piece of copper tubing works well to shape and stiffen any hose.

National Parts Depot does not stock this part, nor does any other Mustang vendor I checked. Looks like a NOS, junkyard, or fab it yourself item.
