Just found this forum. I have a 66 sprint 200 with Autolite 1100. The float is bad and I CANNOT find one ! Can anyone help??? The car ran great so I do not want to get a rebuilt carb. I can find the rebuild kit but not the brass float. BTW-I can't believe this forum...I do have an Clifford performance catalog but I never found sooo much info on our ford sixes before in my life! This is great! Thank you

OK, try Pony Carbs for the float if you want brass. $20, just describes as "1100 brass float".

I guess we can spare o...n...e... m...o...r...e... w...e...l...c...o...m...e  Watch out for the "nutters". :D

Regards, Adam.

Brass would be good but right now I'd settle for ANYTHING! Is there something else available??

I always bought my floats at Car Quest....Now its been a couple of years since I last bought one for a 1100 but I know for sure you can still get them for the Carter carbs, so I would assume you can still get them for the autolite carbs.

Welcome to the forums!!

ordered a 1100autolite foam replacement float from hygrade a couple of months ago through my parts dealer. Though they stock it in their computers, they seem to have major problems in delivery.

Just for comparison: my new pioneer-made replacement rocker arm shaft only took 4 days for delivery from the US.

I spent an hour at advance auto looking for a new float. I looked through the paper catalog. Never found it. I ordered my replacement from Pony.
