By your login, I would think you are in Ariz? Rod's Is where I got one several years ago. It has been working very good since I got it from him. On West McDowell just past the I-17 on the North side of the street in Phoenix. Very well satisfied with his product and price.

try'd them early on in the "game" and my car ran like garbadge,,don't know what the deal was with the carb,,looked exactly like what I had ,,just wouldn't run decently,,rough idle, hard starting etc,,had to take it back,,don't know if it was bad luck or what,,,they didn't have anything else to try

Try rebuilding it yourself. It's not hard and you have some control over the process. You can also make sure you get all the passages and pivot points blown out and clean. That and you learn really well how the thing works.

NAPA usually has some or can get them for about $125.

Or, the rebuild kit is $15. The 1100 is a super simple carb. Even if you haven't rebuilt one before, it'll take maybe an hour. Follow the enclosed instructions.
