which aussie head fits US 200cui? And which is most common? Best?

My english is crap, so I dont find any facts.

in there, it mentions a 2V head, and it mentions a Crossflow head

the 2V head bolts on, the crossflow, if you modify the block, can be made to work, but not too many people have actually done that


also, what is your first language? i'm almost positive we've got someone on here who can assist in translation if you need it

i know we've got several Finns here, but i'm not sure how many Swedes we have

I got relatives i Australia so the shipping is no problem. I need to know what head I will buy.

I think the answer is the 250-2V head.

It bolts directly onto the 200 block without modification.

You will need an intake manifold with it. You could use your cast iron exhaust manifold, BUT headers would be MUCH better.

For the crossflow you also need a crossflow camshaft, and to add a thick metal plate recessed along one side of the block, under your head gasket. It is much more difficult than adding the 2V head.

However, buying a 2V head isn't easy. They are very uncommon these days.
