I recently bought a '61 Falcon, 4-dr, sedan, 3-speed. The current carburetor (an Autolite) needs rebuilding but the seller suggested rebuilding the Holley 1-bl (2597, stored in the trunk), which, he claimed, came with the car when he bought the car used, instead. The part numbers are a bit of a mystery - head: C1DE-6090-A, manifold: C3DE-9430-A, block: C6DE-6015-A. Can someone tell me if this is a 144, 170 or 200 CID motor? The car was originally a 144 but the motor has been replaced at least twice. Given the part numbers listed above, what carb is recommended? Performance is not an issue, I'm only hoping for a good-running car. Thanks. Jim
