i live in houston and it is pretty much hot year round, even in the winter. which kind of spark plugs do yall suggest that i use? if anyone has any info about which is the best performing (im using a bosch platinum set right now) any help would be appreciated.

my present engine a mild 200 in a 67. i'm using autolite single platinium ap-46. when i put the next engine in, i think i will look at accel-which is nippondenso with the u-groove tip. has anybody run splitfires?? i might check out ac rapid fire's.
any other comments on these or other susgestions. william

Stay away from splitfires..waste of money. They work, but not as well as advertised.

It really really depends on your ignition. WIth a stock ignition, normal autolite (or motorcraft) copper plugs are great, especially at $.99. If you have an upgraded ignition (hotter coil, MSD, etc) you may want to consider platinums. That is what I'm currently running, just the stock Bosch Platinums at $1.99 a piece. They are working great.

I envy you.

Over here, BOSCH dealerships do not sell products designed for the American market. Not for 1.99, not for 10.99, not at all. Bummer.
