I wan't sure where to put this topic, but here goes; Has anyone done an electric wiper conversion to their vacuum powered car? I can't stand them. Anyone know of a kit or easy donor install? Any help would be appreciated. As it is now my wipers are powered by manifold vacuum (wrong fuel pump) and they almost stop when I'm accelerating. It's annoying and dangerous. Help please!

I don't know if this works in 1962 and erlier Falcons and Comets. But it does work in 1963 and up Falcons, Comets, Mustangs, and Fairlanes and that is a two speed intermittent wiper setup from a early 70's to early 80's Ford pickup or 78 and up Bronco.

You need to get the motor, switch and relay box with wiring harness. It is then just a one wire hook up using the existing wiper power wire. Your existing wiper bezel an knob fits on the new switch

My vacuum assist wipers have a fixed speed as well as the vac assist-yours doesn't? I went to the bone yard and snagged a vac canister from a f-150 and plumbed it in-now my wipers work pretty well.
