Folks,
My winter rebuild is complete. Photos can be seen at my web page. (don't know how to post photos...) http://www.odu.edu/webroot/instr/sci/RDias.nsf/pages/personal
The car is a 69 fastback with a 200, 3spd. Engine was completely rebuilt, bored .030, decked, 3 angle valve job, 6-into-2 hooker headers, 31" dial glasspacks, HW5200 carb, Comp Cam (260), K&N air cleaner, Moroso breather, and more. Looks great, sounds like the 68 goat (at idle atleast) in the background. I drive when the weather is nice (no ac and I still have to reinstall the heater...) The help/research I found/did on this website was invaluable. Bob

That engine looks really nice. Do you have any dyno numbers on it yet? Do you have any 0-60 or 1/4 mile times?

No dyno or 1/4 results. I am afraid I would be depressed by the results. The header/carb/cam combo is likely godd for about 30-50 horse abuve stock. But the 3spd and lod head are still big drawbacks to performance hounds. I am still getting used to the bigger cam, and right now I would ger beat by the soccer mom/ minivan combo. My rebuild was driven by the need to get rid of the blue smoke contrail that developed last summer...and add some performance within a budget (that got blown). All in all, I am pleased..especially when setting off car alarms in parking lots  The tinkering will continue...Bob

Very nice rebuild.... I am in the process of wrapping my own winter rebuild up and cannot wait to get this finished....

Looks very nice.... love to see them, I never get tired of seeing a newly built six.

looking graet, what wheel,s are on it , got a detaild pic from the wheels ?

Nice job. One suggestion on the website though, is to save your images as JPG or JPEG. They will be a lot smaller than TIFF images and our friends on dialup will be better able to see them.

I'll try and JPEG the pics on monday...As for the wheels, I think they are Keystone wheels...They were on the car when I bought it. 4 lug, 14" wheels. I just put on a new set of 205/75/14's, black walls, looks very retro. I'll shoot a picture of the wheels soon...Bob

Wow, I think that's the first '69 Fastback I have ever seen with a 200. Was it the factory motor? I would have thought it had the 250. And 4 lug wheels. That has to be a rare setup.

Yea, that 200 was the original motor in this car...200K+ miles worth. I would suspect that the reason you see so few would be that most were cannibalized for parts for restorations of the 302's. The 200 + 3spd was the base factory package. Oh, I jpeg'ed the pics for faster viewing...Bob
