XY XW Rear Sedan bumper to Ute

Hi all .. Not sure if this is the right place for this post but hopefully i get some help.
Has anyone out ther fitted an XY sedan rear bumper to the rear of an XW XY ute ? I have one here and it seems to short but I have seen them fitted before ? I am guessing you need to cut some of the inside of the rear bumper out to make it fit around the body or is there a better way ?

Can you try an XR/XT unit? I'm suspecting they just restyled the top of the rear corners.

What to do about the spare location? Going for an auxiliary fuel tank?

I will have to check the XR XT ones .. Spare wheel goes underneath the front section alongside fuel tank (lots of room there) and LPG tank will be take the place of the original spare wheel location..

If that doesnt work, measure a wagon rear bar.

wagon bar is the way to go
1/4's are wider at the bottom same as a wagon
