Stylin' man. So what is the dis/advantage of the Carter over the Autolite 1100? How do they stack up "in a head to head shootout", as the car mags put it.

My experience with the YF was very good. Not only does it flow more air than the 1100, the idle and main circuits are better at atomizing fuel, it seems. Not only was I getting better power, but the mileage improved as well.

Also, the YF had a proper ported vacuum circuit for the DSII distributor I was using.
