YUGO Engine swap for a 63 Comet

I was at the local junkyard and I scored! I picked up a complete 78 YUGO drive train (engine and tranny) and it fits like a glove in my 63 Comet. It is rated at 52 HP but I figure if I lighten my car by removing some unimportant items (like heater, seatbelts, rear brakes, speedometer) it should work just fine. It bolts right into the mounts with no modifications other than being about 2 inches taller than the hood, but I solved that by cutting a hole in the hood and installing a blower scoop from an 84 GTO.

PS- Just kidding....
Happy April 1st!

Thanks again for all the help on this fourm.

That is so lame. Everyone know that the best way to do a Yugo swap is to put it in the trunk and make your car a mid-engine ride! What were you thinking?
