zero lash rocker assembly

got a real deal on a zero lash rocker rack recently and am curious about putting one on an older 223 head.

any other modifications needed to the valve train to allow for its use? or is it simply a "bolt on"

The first problem is if you are attempting to mount it on a Pre '61 engine is the fact that they had two Center Studs mounted on the these to hold the Valve Cover in place & the S.L. Rocker is a Post '61 improvement but does not have the Threaded sections on top to mount the Center Studs.

yesir. that i did know

i plan to either drill and tap stud holes in those locations on the "new" rack, or replace them with the standard center castings from the existing rack.

my main concern is weather or not this will effect the tappets and pushrods and valves at all.
