Weber 1-bbl issue

For those that have done a Tri-power mod or just happen to have experience with it, how did you sort out the weber carb fueling? The center ICH has a large barbed fitting on passenger side whereas the end ICT carbs have a small barbed fitting on the driver's side. I considered drilling and tapping in a new 5/16 th fitting in each ICT but there isn't enough metal, looks like it has to be prssd in and I can't find a 5/16th press fitting. Maybe drill and tap a smaller one on the ICH?

I drilled and tapped to move the inlets to the valve cover side and then used brass pipe plugs on the existing holes.

I tapped mine and used JB weld to seal it. Worked great.
