7 quart AU oil pan?

7 quarts is a nominal figure.

The sump Mike sold while there were still good cores around is a High Energy unit , and is ex Australian, and the Aussie engine had few differences when they went to hydraulic lifters, like a wider block, and a different part number for the 6750 coded dip stick. About 1964, a whole raft of changes were made to the 200 engine, and I guess they are quoting the Australian figure plus a couple of quarts.

so its about the same capacity as a stock one, at least it has baffles and a windage tray, so now when i have to slam on the brakes my oil pressure will not drop to 0

Yep, it'll be just fine. These engines have about 60% of there oil in suspension at 5000 rpm without a windage tray and baffle, and oil temperature drops out of sight when you run them.

If nothing else the just the Baffleing is worth the change
