air cleaner

Does anybody know what hooks into those two open spots on my air cleaner? well I guess its the snorkel but all of the other air cleaners I've had or seen are different. So I guess I'm just looking for more info about it.

well the big hole is definitely for a snorkel, and the little hole is for a small round thing thats usually white (i dont know what its called) and its for cold start operation. the thing that goes in the hole is attached with a clip and has 2 port things sticking out of it for hoses to be attached (big and littel ports) the big port has a hose that goes to the duct valve vacuum motor and the little one goes to the bi-metal sensor. how bout going to a nice shiny chrome air cleaner without all those holes?
