Find a big cork, and an even bigger bottle...
For one head setup an airfreight parcel is cheapest but even that's dear. When you go sea freight, East Coast is dearer than West Coast by a bunch.
Any parcel to go by air needs to be inspected by the agents you consign it to. This is because of the thousands of bombs Australians regularly mail by airfreight, or possibly because of bureaucratic over-reaction. It means you turn up to the airfreight depot, unpack every flamin' item in the box, pack it all up again and they whisk it off.
If you are in Melbourne, also try Mike Fielder (call Danny at Early Falcon Spares for his number) or if in Brisbane maybe call FCI (Fast Cargo International) to see if they broker airfreight.
I bolt the head to a stiff board for safety. Costs a few extra dollars in freight but peace of mind is there.
