I haven’t seen one for sale at all. As the article stated they’re restricted per ACTC guidelines. If one would become available, I’m sure your looking at 10k plus.
 
Yeah, not being able to afford one for me is indistinguishable from not being allowed to buy one. It’s really nice to look at the engineering and craftsmanship all the same.
 
That's similar to what BMW, Mercedes and a lot of top European race teams do. Up to a point, the parts racers use are available from the individual factories. But once you step up to LeMans and higher level racers, many of those parts are prototype or one offs that are put into the hands of top teams and racers to test, but never allowed to be passed on to the public and have to be returned to BMW or Mercedes after they are through with them....
