OK, long story short: have a clean 66 mustang in the garage with 200ci I-6 in it. Already did the T-5 swap and plan to do a whole lot more as we can afford (it the wife's car none the less). At the top of the list and the first thing is to get some more hp out of the motor. So I want to get one of these Aluminum heads and go fuel injection. Problem is, I am not so much in the know about this. But a friend of mine has an almost complete fuel injection set up off a chevy small block that I can get for a song (or a rifle scope for that matter). I just need to know if it would be worth it to and if it would be able to work? So far from what I have gathered, I am about 90% sure that I could at least use the TB off of it, making it well worth my time and rifle scope. Here is a pic of said TB:
Looks like it has 42mm or so butterflies on it. It has the injectors and all of the sensors (to my knowledge) except for the O2 which is no big deal. So what say every one? Is it compatible with the intake? Or would my time and energy be better spent elsewhere instead of trying to make it work? I think this is the same or similar TB that someone else here did up. Any help would be appreciated as I am getting in a little over my head at this point, but I think I can swing it. Getting all giddy about building this thing up and making a little monster out of it.
Thanks,
Dave
