All Small Six Stock carb adjustment question

Hello, I’m running the stock auto lite carb on my stock ‘66 200. I rebuilt it recently and it seems to working perfectly except for one thing. Under light acceleration, it starts to rabbit-hop a bit. Jerky acceleration. Once I step into the pedal, it smooths out and accelerates properly. Idle is smooth at 650. The choke is fully open and engine is warm. Im not sure what needs adjusting ? Check the power valve inside the carburetor they tend to stick. If it is then remove the expansion plug and clean it out.

Unless your car would have the California emissions system on it then you should Turn the Idle speed down to 600 RPM and retune the mixture screw to the "Lean Best Idle". What do you have the Base Timing set to?
