#11 Head bolt

I remember reading in the Falcon Performance Handbook that the #11 head bolt has oil flowing around it from the block to the head. With the ARP head stud set I'm installing, will I have to modify that stud to provide a path for the oil? I'd hate to starve the head oiling system and trash all the work that I'm putting into it.

I´d widen the inner diameter of the oil feed hole rather than grinding on an ARP head bolt.

Same goes for the rocker arm shaft support- enlarge the oil galley on the pedestal, or, if you have access to the right machinery, fab up something completely new... like this:

There doesn't need to be a whole lot of room since oil flow isn't all that high. The oil should find its way - - how much farther did the hole get necked down??

I would say do what simon says, or if you get flow just leave it like it is.

WhitePony,
What I did was to grind some material from the head. You only need to go up the bolt hole in the head about an inch or so to met up with the oil feed hole to the rocker pedistal.
It's very easy to do with a Dremel or die grinder and a carbide bit.
