I've got 16 early 240 connecting rods, casting/engineering # C5AE. These are from 1965-67 240's and do not have the oil squirters like the 68-74 240 rods. And have the piston pin diameter of .912" like the SBF V8's. 12 of these are old TRW Reman'd. TRW part # CR1400. The other 4 are just used rods. These are getting pretty hard to find.
I would recommend having these checked, rebuilt as/if needed and some ARP rod bolts installed before running them.
