170 to 200 questions

I just bought a 71 200 to replace my 63 170. I have set it in and bolted a recently purchased fordo to it. I am going to have to figure out something for the throttle linkage cable vs. linkage. Is there any other really big problems that I should be aware of?

Not really. It should pretty much just go in...

Since you've got the tranny bolted up, that's the only place where Ford played tricks. Everything else is a straight bolt-in.

I appreciate it.... I got the engine from ebay for 5.50.....with a c4 attached. The guy was fairly local so I went and got it bolted my new fordo to it and set it in. Unfortunatly I won't get to finish it up untill next weekend.

Yeah it runs and the tranny is good. I would go with the c4 but I need the car up and running and the transmission mount and driveshaft work would take longer than I have..... I will use the tranny in my step sons 66 stang instead.
