170 to 200 swap

Ladies and gentlemen (and gearheads of all ages),
I have just purchased a new (to me) 200 out of a 1970 maverick. I want to drop it into my 1966 Bronco (3.03 3 speed toploader). I'm going to have the guys and gals in the automotive department here at work rebuild the bottom end for me and have the cylinder head shipped to a buddy. The head is going to get hardened seats and whatever else it needs plus some machining for a 2 bbl. I'll wait to see what kind of shape the lower end is before I decide what needs to be done there.

My questions, then, are:
What do I need to pay attention to in terms of 1970s emissions controls swapped into a 1966? (Big Question)
What cam would you suggest for a daily driver/4wd?
What are your favorite upgrades that you've done to your 200?

i assume that you live in california based on this question. there really isnt much difference between emission controls from 66 to 70, even in california. so i doubt you are going to have any issues.

What cam would you suggest for a daily driver/4wd?

you want something that will produce lots of low speed torque. i suggest this cam;

or this cam;

What are your favorite upgrades that you've done to your 200?

electronic ignition, two barrel carb. i also like headers, and good roller rockers, though i havent done those upgrade on a six yet. they work great on V8s though.

what kind of 4W use?
keep in mind tire dia. & rear gear ratio matches (w/the current or the 2 cited cams I don't think 29 - 33 inch tire with 4:11 - 3:56 rear gear would B a huge mismatch).
Additionally,
Some really like the 5 speeds for DD (puts a lower 1st and a higher final gear on ur 3.30). Most truck 5 speeds need a 1 inch BL, tho & some peeps don't like the gap created @ body frame area.
Bronks R multipurpose vehicles so can't do one thing well, but accomplish several (DD & off rd) others can't. It's not a Unimog or 'stang but I'd rather have it than either. What I'm trying to suggest is get a through plan of modification thru good & long term research and carry that out w/o deviation for top success.

Not in Cali - opposite coast. I just thought that 70s enginse had emission stuff that wouldn't have anywhere to hook up in a '66

That's exactly the boat I'm in: putting a 200 into a 66 Bronco with a 170. You saved me asking some cam questions! Sounds like we'll be building basically the same engine.
I put a DSII ignition in mine, and I like it. There are several threads about that on here. Be careful the 66 will have load-o-matic dist/carb setup and the 70 won't, so if you use the original dizzy, you'll have to find a compatible carb (I assume that a 2v load o matic carb works with a dizzy that originally was paired with a 1v)

I'll be putting headers on my 170 before I swap engines also, just to see what difference it makes - even on a tired engine (and also so that I have an exhaust system ready to hook up to the new 200).
Cheers!
