Since the metro Phoenix AZ area has a drag strip operating again,

Took the muffler off, I built a new header collector for the 200 CID engine in my Falcon:

Rectangle tube will build more torque.

Not really sure yet.

10 days out from the race.
Just got the low down from Rich...$30 at the gate...no real race program since it is club day...no extra fee to make passes down the track. Enter at Gate 2 and gates open around 8am.

Crosley, Good to hear your gettin the falcon back out of the mothballs :) I'm bringin my daily driver import for some passes. There should be about 4-5 of us, If you guys are up to it maybe later in the day we can set up a lil bracket race between us for fun.

Crosley, Thanks for coming out today. Had a good time watchin you guys run.

It was a good day, although we had to push the Falcon off the trailer to jump start it from my truck. Time for a new battery for the ol car

Imagine my surprise and amazement with the Falcon. At Wild Horse drag strip: It ran with in .09 of it's fastest ET of 15.17 I ran at SpeedWorld. The MPH was consistent at mid 87 mph.

I thought I had the 4.11 traction loc center section was in the car. Nope. I had the 3.55 open carrier center section in the car. Explains why it felt a little lazy at the top end after the shift to 3rd gear.
