I have a 1966 mstang with a 200ci engine. I had the engine rebuilt and as i was putting it back together one of the main cap bolts broke. the rest torqued down okay. i'm worried that all the bolts are fatigued so i just want to replace them all. but i can't find a set of bolts on sale anywhere? i've been told that i can't use grade 8 bolts from a local hardware store but the only place i've found the bolts is through a custom order which is expensive. is there anywhere that i could get these bolts?

thanks.

8) the best bolt on the market as far as i am concerned are arp. call and give them the bolt specs and they can whip up a set for you, for usually not much more than an in stock set.

8) I agree.go with ARP.they might be more than stock bolts. However!.........they are clearly a superior product and will keep the engine in one piece.
