I have a 67, 170 and under the carb. is a plate that the throttle mounts to and the vacuum link, on the side of it, is as tube that looks like the heater hose goes to, is that correct, never seen anything like it before, this is my first ford 6 cly.
Yep, stock adaptor for the early I6 engines. Ford didn't use adaptors on all engines, but its best to use it as some had a boss to mount the accelerator linkage to it.
