1bbl modifications

I'm now starting my supercharger setup on my 200. I was wondering what mods i need to do, to my autolite 1100's, to run about 9 pounds of boost. I keep reading about changing floats. Something i need to worry about? I would appreciate any information.

Hi Curtis,

You need a way to prevent the float from getting damaged (crushed) under boost if you are using a hollow brass float. Unfortunately, adding "filler" materials to the inside of a brass float also makes them heavy (less float action)

If a nitrophyl float is unavailable for your carb, you might be able to graft two float designs together.
