And I want to thank each and every one of you who have helped me in making it happen. The clutch disc wasn't easy to find, but once I got the correct parts, everything was a breeze.
Now if it will only warm up so I can get the driveshaft in and drive it!
Again THANKS!

Can you provide more detail on what you needed for the swap? I have a 3 speed top loader I would like to swap for my non syncro 3 speed, in my 66 mustang. Thanks.

I have a 64-1/2 170 engine, so I needed an adapter plate for the bellhousing, a throwout bearing for a 67 200, a clutch disc from an 80's Mustang 4 cylinder(8-1/2", 1-1/16 10 spline ), a pilot bearing for a 66 Mustang 289(needs to fit the trans output shaft).
Now, if you have a 66 200, I'm pretty sure all you'll need is a clutch disc to fit the trans shaft and the pilot bearing.
Hopefully someone here will have more info.

I got it from the inline pages shop. I don't think he makes them anymore. I bought it well over a year and a half ago.
I didn't upgrade to get a stronger tranny, I did it because the 40mi. one-way trip to work is a pain w/o synchronized 1st gear and all the stops I make. I have had 2.77's in a few Mustangs, and except this one, I haven't driven them all that much so it didn't matter.
Now if I can find out if my C-4 from the 64-1/2 will be a "bolt-on" to a 66 200, I'll be all set................ :?:
