i was just wondering how many extra cubic inches the 200 conrods give the 250 crossflows?

None. Nada, nil, nyet. Not a bean.

They will cost you an engine rebuild, a set of more expensive ACL pistons, you might get a less strong rod and you'll get a power and torque increase of less than 6% according to my research.

The capacity (amount of fluid held or displaced with all cylinders down in the bore) of any engine is raised only by boring the cylinders out a larger size or making the pistons go down deaper in the bore.

Putting 200 cubic inch rods which are about half an inch longer than the stock 250 cube rods does only two things, and that is reduce side thrust and slows the rate of piston acceleration and deceleration. Those factors alone give a little more power, a fraction more torque and a minute amount smoothness to an engine.

It's a worthless modification unless the rest of the engine is built to a much racier specification than Ford ever intended.
