200 Rebuild

i pulled my 200 from my 67 stang since it had a bad vaccum leak. i took apart the motor and im planning to rebuild it to just cruise around for work and school. im wondering around how much do you think it was cost to do a stock rebuild including machine work and such. and where should i start on the rebuild. Ive never done a complete rebuild before just replaced parts here and there. Also does anyone know how hard it is to rebuild a c4 tranny?
