200ci engine dimensions?

Could someone please supply me with some engine dimensions? I would like to know the length of the motor from the engine/transmission connection to the front of the water pump and I also need the height of the motor from the lowest point "sump" and the height at the very front of the motor from the oil pan to the valve cover. Also how much do these motors weigh?? I want to make a wood template to see if a 200ci will fit in my project vehicle!! Thanks for your help guys!!!

I have never seen that information published on any of the many many threads that I have read. I like yourself thought that by now somebody would have tossed a measuring tape on a motor and got those critical measurements but alas they have not. I cannot help as I don't even have a Ford Six at my house right now.

the trans is not connected.

23 1/8" tall (edelbrock valve cover)
the block is 31 3/8" long from water pump snout to trans. mating surface
the trans is 30 1/2" long ( C4 auto )
these numbers are guaranteed +/- 1/8"

the lowest area of the oil pan to the top of the valve cover.

these are close numbers. without a large caliper, it's the best I can do.

also, you'll need to consider the oil cap. I did not include it in the measurement.

i just had a 200 shipped n it was 175 lbs

you got away cheap. my 200 is over 300 lbs.

Short block I could see being 175 or so. Full dress is supposed to be 385 lbs. or so including fluids.
