240-300 distributor in a 223

It seems everyone is out of stock on the Cardone 84-2610 (new) and the 30-2610 (reman). Does anyone know of an alternative? Looking for vac & mech advance, manifold vacuum unit.

Does anyone know the stock number for the pickup tube for the 67A pump? I’m doing this now and it would be nice to avoid fabbing one up

Hi I don’t know the part number I used the duraspark II cause I wanted that sort of stock look, i had Davis unified build mine they sourced the core but it took several months.
I don’t have a part number for the oil pump pick up tube but I do have the melling intermediate shaft part number for the 67A pump to duraspark dist if you need it. Not the greatest pics but here’s my dist. I used dui spark plug wires as well.
Mine was done a couple years ago.

@Paps61 Wow those wires are impressive, thanks for replying. I know I am being a bit picky but I did manage to find a Cardone reman (30-2610) and an old Ford reman 300, both have the small cap, points style. I’ll work on finding the pickup tube or I’ll modify mine this week. I did find the hex shaft, someone posted a link with the part number which was really helpful. Thanks again

@Paps61 I'm looking to purchase this same distributer, was it as easy as adding to cart or did you have to contact Davis Unified directly? Any help would be appreciated before I pull the trigger on this.

Yea give those guys a call and see what they say. Please let us know what you hear. Lots of good reviews about them here on the I6 site.

The small cap (points style) distributor is hard to find/ out of production. Nobody has them.
(Edit; Rock Auto has the Autospark D446 which might just work!)
There is one on eBay now but it’s not cheap. I searched for a long time and finally found one, then I was lucky enough to find a spare. I don’t know about the Duraspark but those have a larger diameter cap, looks different and takes up valuable space. The 300 points dizzy uses the same small cap as the 223 (and I think different rotor.) The unit I’m running currently is actually a Falcon/ Mustang style and I added a cup & bushing to it and just made it fit. Not recommended but it works great.

The Cardone 84-2610 (new) and the 30-2610 (reman) are out of production. Nowhere to be found. I ordered a few from vendors and eBay and all of them were incorrect so I sent them back.

Here’s what I used;

Pickup tube is C1AE-6622-A
(Not cheap)

Oil pump Melling M67A
(5/16” hex)

Oil Pump drive shaft

Sealed Power 224-61117
(5/16” hex)

Distributor Gear B5A-12390-A

Distributor WAI DST2613 (Falcon/Mustang style,
not recommended)
