is there anyway a ford 300 can handle 25 psi on alcohol im planning on using a mpfi system my build is all in the r&d stage right now any help will be greatly apreciated

if you have enough money, you can do anything

however, everyone is going to ask you why you want 25PSI
a HP or a torque level is what you want to shoot for, you might only need 16PSI to get there, just randomly saying you want 25PSI doesn't really say anything

I would say you would need aftermarket (probably custom) rods and very strong forged pistons. Head studs would be a must as well. The crank/main bearings would be fine in my opinion.
Even with studs though, I think the head gasket would be the weak point.

Just thoughts.

i know 25 psi is just an off the shelf number but i think it might be needed to get my truck down the track at a low 10 with the good ol 4.9

Sure it can....for how long is the question!

We've run 18lbs. just fine in a 250. But we've also destroyed two motors too.

You're going to need to make a bunch of power to get a full size trunk into the 10's with a 300.

Doable? Yes. Durable and cheap? Who knows!

But give it a try, post lots of pics and let us know how it goes!
Someone has to do it!

Later,
Will
