250 double roller?

I'm trying to gather up the last of the parts I need for my turbo 250 build and I'm having trouble finding a few parts. I noticed in the Mustang and Ford article on Mike's buildup they used a Clevite double roller timing set, though I can't seem to find it anywhere - anyone know of a source for 250 double roller timing sets?

Looks like the article might have gotten that wrong. There were several inaccuracies in the article.

I haven't heard of a double roller set for a US 250.

Yeah, the article was a little off - 250's get worse gas mileage than 302's? As if you could make a blanket statement like that.

Ya the article was off in some spots.
Currently there are no adjustable timing sets for the US 250.

I had my machine shop machine a new key way into the crank sprocket closely matching a multi-indexed one from a SBF as a guide.
Unfortunately that makes the keyway "round" so a file and some elbow grease is required to square it up!
But so far it works just fine!

Will
