The engine is at the machine shop along with my falcon book. He is very good with all types of engines (currently rebuilding a 1932 stright 8 now that an inline big block). I want to go with 2 32/36 webers direct mounted on the log. I have the 1969 motor mounts so I believe that with those my new engine will sit 1.5" higher than it does now. I currently have a single weber sitting on an adapter which is very high. If I turn the carbs 180 so that the bowl is to the exhust side I think I can lower them an inch. I belive it will fit under the hood if my numbers are right. What are your guys thoughts, has any one tried this on a 68? Thanks in advance.
