All Small Six 250 hp 200

I’m looking to build a late 70’s 200 to put in a Falcon. Does anyone know about how much hp I can get with the stock heads running a carb? I don’t mind having machine work done, but it seems expensive and difficult getting aftermarket parts for this.
I would be happy with anything over 250hp.
Is this possible without breaking the bank?

You would need forced induction to get 250+ HP with a stock head.

+1 on forced injection. Only way to do it.

A mild 289/302 might be a better choice if you need 250hp....

What year Falcon and what is there now? 170?

250 HP / 200 is possible - as my machinist says: it's just Horsepower per cubic dollar ...
