250 log head to 221 skim amount

How much do I need to mill off a 1976 250 log motor head to put it on a 221 high comp stand engine, cheers

What pistons in the 221? You cant skim the head more than 1mm, and it might have already been skimmed. If the 250 head is flat, leave it alone, the loss of compression is very small. You must be in USA, Australia had stop making log heads in 74.

cheers, in OZ, head number is 72BA 6049AA 22A6 just have this good head and have stuck valve in the 221, was told the head is 1976 250 so that must be wrong, i want to use it on the 221, thanks
