Well, I've got the upgrade itch. (No I don't want a cream for it)

I've seen the $65 Stovebolt's 5200, plus the cost of a Clifford adapter, and thought it a very inexpensive upgrade.

How does it affect power and drivability? And is a new fuel pump or accelerator linkage needed?

Better power, great MPG, smoother idle and better driveablity, but you may need to adapt or change your linkage? This really is not a big deal to mod your linkage to use the Holey 5200. My 200 was getting about 15-20 mpg, when I installed the Holley 5200 it got over 25 mpg and about 28 on the Highway, but then it does depend how you drive. Most stock 1V Ford Carbs are anywhere from 156 cfm upto 210 cfm, the Holley 5200 is around 250-265 cfm. I have since put a Aussie 2V and Holley 500 cfm on my 200  But others here will tell you the same, it's a great upgrade. Search the old posts and you will find more info!

Thanks for the post!

I think I'll go for it!

I'll also take your advice and read up on older posts.

Once again, thanks.
