So take two of the adapter is complete, bloody yay!

Was gonna take it for a spin earlier but forgot I hadn't hooked up the throttle linkage :S Oh well. She runs a charm, real sweet, real responsive!
Nearly wanna bolt a t5 behind it now...

Reach for the sky!

Its a weapon, Luke, really good. That'll sohc it to them Jappers, bro'.

The engine is like quarter of an inch shorter than a 250, so why not shove in a truck turbo, and boost the living smitereens out of it?

what sort of engine mounts did you use? looks cool

Stock engine mounts, custom job on the base plates.:

Were a piece of piss to make, just made a plate in same shape with same holes as my old v8 baseplates, measured where the engine sits with the
xy6banger baseplates, then translated the mount bolt (the long one) upwards by 20mm, and back 20mm.
to lift the engine 20mm the bolt hole height was raised something like 15 then moved up the plate 5mm. Can't remember, easy to work out on paper.

xecute, fuck mate, only just got it going! I'll wait until the 302 heads are finished before I blow this little beast up. triple turbo's out of a mitsi vr4 eh?
Still haven't been for a drive, need trans fluid and the brakebooster vacuum hose :S
And to glue the windscreen in (or just whack some goggles on  )
Oh shite, better remember to bolt the baseplates down properly too... :S
