howdy,,, can those of you who are using the 32/36 give me some feedback regarding the reliability of the various choke options? I ordered one from stovebolt and it showed up with a water choke and an electrical lead. I assumed it would be a manual choke. What is the longevity of this auto choke setup? Should I look for a manual? Where would I hook that lead up?.... thanks to all... David in Mt Baldy CA

I took off the electric assisted/water choke and went to a straight electric. From what I understand, the lead should be connected to a 12v source in the run position. I hooked mine to the "I" on the solenoid.

As for longevity, I can't help there...

My old 32/36 had the straight electric choke and was fine for several years. I have been running mine off of the + terminal of the coil all that time as well...
