What does the Holley 2300 350cfm really flow at? What about an autolite 300cfm carb, what does it really flow at?

Thanks,

Curtis

Curtis, the holley 350 cfm 2300 is rated that figure @ 3 hg. To convert that carb to 1.5 hg where all 4 barrel carbs are rated is 247 cfm, a 500 holley would go to 353 cfm @ 1.5 hg.
I guess holley rates them for a huge engine application where at full throttle you never reach close to zero hg. Using both carbs on a small six cylinder engine you will be closer to the flow ratings for a 4 barrel carb.
I don't know the rating system for the autolite carbs. Just compare venturi diameter. The 350 holley is 1 3/16", the 500 is 1 3/8".
Hope this helps, william
