What, like your 250 Aussie block? Its got four bolts on it, holding the bellhousing on, like 1 million other 250 Aussie engines.

Look at the 250 Aussie block on the right, count the bolts on the sandwich plate...one..two...three..four...Aussies don't need any more..

While your AOD on your US 250 (right again, not the Aussie 250 on the left) has six bolts ptched at about 8.25 inches, holding the thing on

could you mean a 4-bolt as in a 4-bolt main such as in a BOSS 302?
i've never heard of one, from what i've heard of the strength of the bottom-end of the I-6's, it's not needed either
