on my 66 200 i still have the original 4 lug spindles my rims are in crappy shape and since you can scarcely find 4 lugs any more i want to upgrade to 5 lug spindles and a set of magnum 500's i have a 68 rusted donor car with a 289 drivetrain and rear will these spindes work if so can i just remove the spindles or are they one piece with the axle

I have a set of disc brakes from a 77 maverick that will fit. Let me know if you would be interested. I would like to get $175.00 for the spindles calipers and dust plates.

what did the 66 comet have was it aN eight or a 6 car i thought all 6 cars had the 4 lug pattern

it was an 8, was a super rare car being a comet caliente convertible... one of 264 or sometihn ghowever it was too far gone to do anything with... it took about an houir and lots of wood to even get the side up to get the rear and spindles... the rust was unbelievable.

My Ranchero has an original 6 cylinder and it came with 5 lugs; it has heavy duty rear end. I know that '67 Mustang discs fit '66 Comet spindles. The Comet drum brake spindles should be the same as Fairlane & Rancheros, '66 up to I think '71 or '73.
