Did ford produce a Falcon in Australia after 1965 (XP) that came with 4 Stud Disc brakes.???? I just had a fella drop me a question about using a pair on a 68 Mustang with a 6 cylinder motor. He doesn't want to change it to a 5 stud as it would lose alot of originality.

Well, they ran out in '66. You can order a set of DBA rotors drilled for four studs - they will need to be the integral hub type - to fit on XW-XB spindles, or use a 4stud setup on the solid discs up to / including XT.

The earlier 4-stug Moosetongue wheels are actually 13" centres with a specialty 14" rim that steps in an extra ½" to meet that smaller centre. They won't clear the caliper on XP-XT disc brakes. Hence, you must use aftermarket 14" rims or buy XP Falcon 14" ones. For the XW-on discs, you are into "suck and see territory" - something will fit, but not sure what.

addo.
i'm pretty sure the old falcon 4 stud is a 4x108 pcd
I'm looking at doing a falcon strut conversion into a TC/TD cortina.
Have you ever heard of this being done? and is it even possible?
I know it sounds crazy and full on. Any help is appriciated.
Thanks Steve
