8) with a decent cam, headers, and induction you can squeeze about 175hp from a 200 and still have a streetable engine.

Thats enough for me thought about the inline head but just cant aford it, I was lucky enough to a rust free almost perfect body car so far ive completely rebuilt brakes including drums , new front coils and sway bar leaf springs all new chrome.. will have alot more in it than it will ever be worth but ill have something different,, what cam would you recomend ???

Your choice of cam is dependent on what transmission you have. An automatic prefers more overlap in the cam;
112* over 110* or 108*.

Most people go with the 264 or 264/274 cam from Classic Inlines. Call Mike up and tell him what your engine/transmission
setup is and what you want to accomplish. He can help you make the right choice.

Good Luck.

8) pssst a little secret, wider lobe centers means less overlap not more. as for the cam choice, a dual pattern cam works real nice in these engines with the stock head.

thank for the info ive got along ways to go and thanks for ferlow days could be longer, looking at a autolite 2100 but not sure wich one to get dont know if i would be better off buying one from pony carbs or a used one

8) when i got my autolite, i just got a rebuilt one and ordered one from a 302 powered car, like a mustang from say 1970 or so.
