I am staying US 200 log six. I just want to have fun with the engine that came in my Mustang.
The looks I got when people see a 9 second 1/4 mile car with a dumb looking economy log headed six under the hood is priceless.
Selfless promotion... A few year after I had been to the track. I was looking at a chassis book at one of the name speed shops
Salesman comes over to me and asked if I raced and what car. I told him about it, he rolled his eyes and went back to the checkout area, he and another salesman was laughing and pointing at me. A few minutes later I take the book to check out and you are not going to believe what happens next and 100% true. A man walks into the store and points at me and says "You're the guy with that 9 second six cylinder Mustang" The faces of the two jokers went white.
