I want to hook up a couple aftermarket guages on my 200, anyone know where to plug them in? I have an oil psi guage, I will be adding a tach, and a water temp guage. My '83 LTD has just idiot lights right now and I would like to keep an eye on things uder the hood, thanks.

Oil prusher gage well hook up I beleve at the back of the head Drivers side.
Water temp well hook up most likely in the thermo stat housing,
Tach well be hooked up to the coil at the small wire that goes to the dizzy.

Typically on a 200 the oil pressure sending unit goes directly below #6 spark plug about half way down the block--the fitting at the back driver side on head is the water temp and the tach goes to the neg. side of the coil.

Concur, water temp is rear driver's side of block, not near the thermostat. If thermostat failed you'd never know until it was too late. I removed a T fitting there and connected up with a bushing to the block. Very accurate. Also added oil pressure, just forward of the water temp.

I left the dash gages as they are and just added a 3 way gage mount under the radio behind the stick shift.
