Air cleaner adapter

Hey Im hoping to use the stock air cleaner from the autolite 1100 on a Carter YF. The Autolite had a 2.25" opening and my YF has a 2.5" opening. I was wondering if anyone could suggest how to make an adapter or where to buy one because the stores I have checked near me say they don't have anything that small
Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

for the early econolines, we cut off an air cleaner "tube" from one of the tear drop air cleaners on a later model carter YF econoline (any year from about '70 to '86) and graft them onto the stock unit. Some do not care about the original look, so they simply take the entire air cleaner and bracket and use it as is.

I am not sure if the truck version has a "tube" you can take, but the econos will.
