Hello All, I just picked up a Holley 1909 carb, which is original to my 144. When I opened the box, it looked TINY, like a toy! Nonetheless, what I'm worried about is the air horn opening size. It's much smaller than an Autolite 1100, Holley 1940, etc. Suggestions? Anyone have a pic of the original air cleaner? Is there an adapter available? Already, my 1940 uses a rubber ring adapter to fit to my air cleaner, and this is even smaller. Thanks!
.....Update....Ok, I'm stupid...after looking more closely, the rubber adapter on my 1940 was adapting the wide carb to the smaller air cleaner, so without the ring, my air cleaner fits the 1909 perfectly. Problem solved!
