does anybody out there know where to get chrome air cleaner for 1 barrel carbs. or any ideas on how to make the bigger ones work.

I went to the local autozone bought an Edelbrock one fora 2bbl, and cut out the bottom of my old one, and riveted them together, sealed and it worked great... until I bolted on a 2bbl carb... then I had to go back and buy another one... sell you the old one 20 bucks... like new.. I ran it for about a month...

I also bought an Edelbock chrome assembly and cut the bottom of the standard six air cleaner base palte to mate to the bottom of the new unit like this:
